Back to School 2011

This year will be my first year as a Preschool Director/Lead Teacher...and did I mention my first year teaching Preschool?  Previously, I have taught Kindergarten as a Long Term Substitute teacher for the second half of the past two school years in addition to teaching second and fifth grade as an Extended Term Substitute.  I plan to use this blog to share the activities that I do with my 3 and 4 year old preschool students.  For the first day, I plan to read The Kissing Hand, and I can't wait to have my classes make a Chester Raccoon Paper Bag Puppet- an idea from Enchanted Learning that I found courtesty of Little Giraffes.  Below is  a sample puppet that I made.  I added the black stripe "mask," which I think is the perfect Raccoon touch!  I love it!
